Due to the continuing health concerns associated with the Covid-19 virus, THE and KTH Royal Institute of Technology have taken the difficult decision to postpone the THE Innovation & Impact Summit. Our primary concern remains the well-being of our delegates, speakers and staff and, as such, we believe postponing is the right thing to do. We will update the website with a new date as soon as we can, and really hope that you will be able to join us in Stockholm. If you have any questions or are an existing delegate who hasn’t heard from us, please contact us.
We will be launching our global Impact Rankings on 22 April 2020, alongside a virtual mini summit featuring a special programme of talks, analysis and exclusive presentations. Join us as we create a worldwide conversation of leaders, researchers and policy-makers around the most accurate picture ever created of university impact amidst this period of immense disruption.
When world leaders adopted the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at a 2015 summit in New York, Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai said that all the targets came down to just one thing: education. Universities are now doing their best to bring the Nobel prizewinner’s vision to life.
Since the launch of the first rankings at KAIST in Daejong last April, we have been delighted with the amount of attention that the rankings have received and the stories of how universities have been using them to help advance the cause of sustainability within their organisations.
